As part of the EBB support staff that assists the firm’s registered bankers, Mr. Jeffrey Hinkle thrives on collaborating with others and contributing to the firm’s success and profitability. Blending strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail and financial acumen, he focuses on key drivers and makes fact-based decisions. With a talent for finding anomalies in data, he uses that information to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Jeff is an effective manager, natural relationship builder and good listener who drives results for himself, the team and the firm.

Most recently, Mr. Hinkle was the Chief Administrative Officer & Treasurer of The Beneficient Company Group, a pioneering firm and first-to-market financial services trust company providing proprietary liquidity solutions to owners of alternative assets. He established and managed the operational infrastructure for the company’s rapid growth trajectory. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of Heritage Highland Finance and Management Services and predecessor company of Beneficient. Heritage was a family office holding private equity, real estate and marketable securities. Over 10 years, Mr. Hinkle executed the CEO’s vision for the formation and capitalization of Beneficient.

Earlier, Mr. Hinkle was the Senior Vice President of Finance & Operations at Lehman Brothers Holdings for the acquired Crossroads Group, a subsidiary established to initiate and grow the private equity fund of funds business. He led the successful integration of Crossroads into this major public investment bank holding company. At Crossroads before its acquisition by Lehman, Mr. Hinkle was the Director of Finance & Operations for 5 growth stage companies. He managed finance, M&A due diligence, proprietary technology, technology infrastructure, tax and operations for the investment advisor and affiliate businesses.

He began his career as Controller of the multi-generational family office for Murchison Capital Partners. He also held management, financial consulting and audit positions in banking – including asset analysis for RTC’s mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and asset disposition.

Mr. Hinkle holds an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University and a BBA in Accounting from Southern Methodist University. He is a member of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP).
