Chad Gassaway has over 15 years of experience in investment advisory, equity research, and business startups and operations. His investment experience includes roles at Grace Trading, JPMorgan-Chase, MetLife Securities, and Edward Jones. Following his time spent as a portfolio manager and head of research, he became a founding partner at Big D Dining, a Smashburger franchise group.

Mr. Gassaway previously managed nearly $150 million in assets under management and is experienced across fundamental, technical, and quantitative strategies. His financial research has been included in publications including the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg Brief and on programs such as CNBC and Mad Money with Jim Cramer. He was also previously a contributor to Yahoo! Finance. Mr. Gassaway holds the title of Chartered Market Technician. During his tenure at Big D Dining, he oversaw the startup operations of a Smashburger franchise group and led the highest revenue location in the state of Texas.

Due to his background in finance, investments, and operations coupled with business ownership, Mr. Gassaway has the ability to provide expert services yet understands that this is one of the most impactful financial and emotional decisions his clients will make.

Mr. Gassaway holds a Bachelor of Sciences from the University of Kentucky, a Master of Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management.
