Closing: SCP Polymers Acquires Myco Plastics

Dallas, TX – EBB Group, LLC is pleased to announce that Myco Plastics, Inc. has become a wholly owned subsidiary of South Central Polymers Inc. (SCP Polymers). EBB Group acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor to Myco Plastics. The transaction closed on February 23, 2018.

Myco Plastics, located in Jacksonville, Texas, is a manufacturer of plastic injection molded products. For over 35 years, Myco Plastics has produced precision parts for military aircraft, such as countermeasure flares, as well as a variety of commercial products, such as conveyor equipment used in the food processing industry.

SCP Polymers, located in Booneville, Mississippi, is a custom injection molder of thermoplastic materials. SCP Polymers began as a small injection molding company focused primarily on the furniture industry, but has since grown into a well-diversified company within the plastics industry. SCP Polymers’ acquisition of Myco Plastics represents another step in its expansion.
